There’s a new Sheriff in town, and this time more appealing to the younger more fashionable watch enthusiast.
For the first time in the collection history, has Patek Philippe launched a chronograph in its Aquanaut range, referenced 5968A. Housed in a 42.2mm steel casing, the 5968A depends on the Calibre CH28-520C self-winding flyback chronograph movement as its power source, which is the same calibre found in its elder sibling, the Nautilus 5980.
Being an Aquanaut, Patek Philippe’s composite rubber strap would be the most common kit, however this model comes with a black and an additional orange band, for that more casual look.
Adding just a tinge of orange, the dial still carries the signature Aquanaut chequerboard design.
Set to be priced at around $43,770 USD.
